Description
It was the year 2000 when Solares premiered its first documentary Super8Stories by Emir Kusturica, presented at the Berlin Cinema Festival in 2001, a co-production with Fandango, Pandora and Rasta Film. The years to follow were characterized by the production of documentaries. In 2014 Solares co-produced "Il Sale della terra", a documentary directed by Wim Wenders and Juliano Ribeiro on the photojournalist Sebastiao Salgado, winning the Special Jury Prize at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival.
