Description
Sideways Dog Productions' projects have been hailed by critics and festivals around the world as "stylish, irreverent, and fresh." Having just completed two full seasons of a comedy/mystery series entitled Sunshine City (8x20) in 2023, as well as our third feature film, a dark comedy feature A Thousand Cuts (looking for distribution at Cannes), Sideways Dog Productions currently has three features in active development with Canada's top funding agencies and a full slate of television.
Objective
We are looking for sales and distribution partners for our new feature film A Thousand Cuts (dark comedy, thriller, mystery, true crime, thriller), as well as festival partnerships as we seek a festival release for the film once it is complete in July 2023. A Thousand Cuts stars David Hewlett, Jonas Chernick, and Julian Richings. We are also looking for international co-producer partners for our features in development with Canadian funders, including a horror feature called Slipping.
