Description
The ReadingFilm Office provides location services and production support, facilitates local permitting, and helps filmmakers navigate the PA Tax Credits. The region offers historical sites, urban, suburban, and rural locations that enable filmmakers to recreate any period in history to present day. Expansive landscapes and rich cultural diversity support a variety of film genres. Easily accessible to NYC, Baltimore and Philadelphia, Reading, PA is an affordable and unique film location.
Objective
The ReadingFilm Office is here to build awareness of the region as a film location destination and provide producers with incentives to film in Reading, PA. We support the growth of our local production community, and connect visiting filmmakers with support services in the area. As administrators of the ReadingFilmFEST, we provide independent filmmakers with an enthusiastic audience and create opportunities for connecting with others. Our goal is to put Reading PA on every film producer's map.
