Description
International arts organisation producing across borders, cultures and disciplines. Openvizor is based in London, UK. It was founded in 2006 by Abbas Nokhasteh. Abbas has produced both documentary and fiction features which have premiered at Sundance, Rotterdam and Cannes, including Alejandro Jodorowsky’s latest film Endless Poetry’, ‘Chuck Norris vs. Communism’ and ‘Ballad of Exiles’. He is Executive Producer for 'Mami Wata', premiering at the World Cinema Dramatic Competition at Sundance 2023.
Objective
-Production of "First There Was the Sea", a Colombian-UK co-production of a thriller/drama film based on Tomas Gonzalez' novel. Looking for funding completion. -Film production of "Racing the Valley", a Peru-UK "Dramedy" co-production. Looking for co-producers. -Film distribution of "A House Named Shahana", directed by Leesa Gazi, currently in post-production. -Film production of "Feliza", a Colombian-US horror film, written and directed by Andrés Borda (My Encounter with Evil, Netflix).
