Northstar Entertainment Private Limited is a Film Production Company established in 2012 by Sharrath Marar. Northstar has produced 3 of the biggest films in the Telugu Film Industry: Gopala Gopala(2014), Sardaar Gabbar Singh(2016) and Katamarayudu(2017). Northstar has also massively forayed into the web-series space and has released 3 web series with 3-4 shows currently under production with major OTT platforms slated for 2021/22. Lakshya(2021) will be Northstar's upcoming theatrical release.
Northstar aims to be on the lookout for interesting world cinema that would appeal to a wide Indian audience. We thus look to purchase remake rights of such suitable films. Northstar also deals with and engages in purchase of various Theatrical, VOD, Dubbing, and other such rights.
