Description
Inspired by the award-winning, American cinema of the 1990's and 2000’s, Nineteen Films is an independent production company focused on creating meaningful, impactful films that we would like to watch ourselves— films that are story and performance driven, with additional attention to cinematography, lighting, color, and music. in 2011, Nineteen Films was formed by actor and producer Cal Barnes, with the purpose of creating inspired, genre-defining cinema. That is still our mission to this day.
Objective
Nineteen Film's main objective at AFM 2023 is to secure $3.2M in financing for our neo-noir crime-thriller feature film, 'Infinite Limits', slated to begin production in 2024. Our secondary objective is to sell the rights to our romantic comedy-drama feature film, 'The Astrid Experience', that was completed in 2023.
