Since 1994 NGF has produced 45 doc films for theatrical and TV; worldwide distribution; numerous prestigious awards.NGF first feature film THE ROBBER by Benjamin Heisenberg in Berlinale competition 2010; sec. feature MICHAEL by Markus Schleinzer in Cannes competition 2011.Most recent accolades: European Film Award 2014 MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE by Marc Bauder, THE VISIT by Michael Madsen at Sundance doc comp. 2015; OVER THE YEARS, 10-year project by Nikolaus Geyrhalter, Berlinale Forum 2015.
Objective
Currently, NGF is working on new documentaries by Nikolaus Geyrhalter, Werner Boote, Maria Arlamovsky, Fritz Ofner, and many others, as well as on new feature films by Barbara Albert (LICHT) and Katharina Mückstein, among others. Searching for 'natural' co-productions.
