Martina Girlanda was born in 1992 in Tradate, Italy. After getting her Bachelor degree in Film Studies at the University of Bologna (2014), she applied to the Master course in Filmmaking at the Leeds Beckett University and she was accepted. In September 2016 she moved to the UK. She specialized in Directing and Editing, and she directed the film “Silence in this Solitude”. She graduated in Leeds in July 2018.
