Description

Fabula was created in 2003 by Pablo Larraín and Juan de Dios Larraín to produce feature films and advertising.In 2005 the company produced “Fuga” ("Fugue"), the first feature film directed by Pablo Larraín, which was released in Chile in March 2006. The film was selected in the Official Selection of many international festivals, including Montreal, Rio de Janeiro, Los Angeles Latino, Washington Latino and Paris Latino. It won several awards, among them Best Film at the London Latin Film Festival 2006, Best First Feature at the Cartagena Film Festival 2007 (Colombia) and Best Latin American Film at the Malaga Spanish Film Festival (2007).In 2006, the company produced “La Vida Me Mata” ("Life Kills Me"), a film by Sebastián Silva, which premiered in Chilean theatres in November of 2007. The movie won several Chilean awards, such as the Pedro Sienna given by the Art and Film Industry Council, the Altazor award for Best Direction, and Best Chilean Film of 2007 given by the Chilean Art
