Description
Duck Upon Rock Productions is an award-winning documentary production company based in Sligo in the West of Ireland, telling crafted character driven stories that feature powerful global and Irish stories. We have a strong focus on raising awareness around climate change, enviromental and social issues. Our films have reached a global audience through success with international festivals and VOD / broadcaster acquisitions, including on RTE, Amazon Prime, Aer Lingus, Tubi and Docsville.
Objective
1. Talk to broadcasters and VOD providers about acquisitions of our feature documentary A Greenland Story. A meditation on Greenland’s current moment, this film explores the impact of the rapid cultural and climate change on remote communities along the West Coast. 2. Meet other production companies to discuss co-pro opportunities for our documentaries in development and those on our slate. Equally, I would like to meet funders and broadcasters to discuss our projects.
