Description

Duas Mariola Filmes is a Rio de Janeiro based company focused in experimental and authoral films founded in 2008, composed by the filmmakers Felipe Bragança, Marina Meliande and Daniel Caetano. Working together, Bragança and Meliande have directed and produced short and feature films such as "The Scape of The Monkey Woman" - world premiere at Locarno Film Festival 2009, "A Alegria (The Joy)" – world premiere at Director’s Fortnight Cannes 2010; and "Neverquiet" – world premiere at Rotterdam Film Festival 2011. They have produced or co-produced five feature films and ten shorts, all screened at international film festivals around the world, including Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Oberhausen and Locarno. For the next year, DUAS MARIOLA has four new feature projects in development with partners in France, Germany and Portugal. Some of this projects have been supported by Cinefondation´s Residence, Hubert Bals Fund, Bienalle College Cinema, Visions Sud Est and Berliner Künstlerprogramm DAAD.
