Description
Baswewe Films is an Indigenous company based in Atikameksheng Anishnawbek, Canada, dedicated to producing cinematic features/original series that enhance First Nations’ storytelling and build sustainability in the north. Baswewe produced Falls Around Her - World Premiered at TIFF 2018 and won the People's Choice Award at the imagineNATIVE Film Festival 2018. Stellar World Premiered at TIFF 2022 and opening night at imagineNATIVE 2022. Aki, a non-verbal documentary, will release in 2025.
