Founded in 2006 in São Paulo, 44 Toons' projects have reached all continents. The studio produced the first Brazilian series to be aired in English on a North American channel. The expertise in animation is undeniably a strong pillar of our productions, but our competitive live-action productions showcase our versatility as a studio
Objective
Transgender representation in cinema is a relevant and necessary theme. Three film projects address the topic in different ways: "Chasing HER", a documentary about director Ale McHaddo's gender transition; "Transcendent Love", a romantic comedy about a husband's gender transition; and "THe warrior and the Princess", a 2D animation about a princess facing prejudice. The films have commercial and artistic potential, attracting investments and international co-producers at the EFM.
