    • Synopsis
    • DJ Ray, 30, is thrilled to be hired by beautiful Pilar, 25, to do a gig. And so begins the journey of a lifetime for Ray- an adventure-comedy-romance set in Colombia and Brazil.

Colombia: Ray's feted as the top rave DJ in Europe and plays the first rave gig in South America. A success - Pilar and German ask Ray to be resident DJ at their new club.

While the club's readied, Ray's offered a gig by macho Oscar, 25, at his uncle's finca in Medellin. It's a base for drug cartels. Warm welcomes from Don Jorge, 60, the head of the cartel. Ray is smitten, seduced by a world of ultimate "anything you want" affluence. Ray plays a great set to celebrate the cartel smuggling 90 tonnes of cocaine into the US - he even bumps into and chats with Pablo Escobar on the edge of the dance-floor.

Don Jorge suggests Ray take Pilar for a break to the Amazon. Ray and Pilar visit the cartel's coke factory in the jungle and Ray meets a local shaman who takes him on a wild mind-crazy journey. Ray convinces Pilar to go to Rio with him.

Rio is full for Carnival but they're saved by Brit Stew and Swede Benny touting beach apartments to let. Over friendly drinks Ray, drunk, brags he's mates with Escobar.

Stew, impressed, pitches Ray a plan to smuggle cocaine into Australia where it sells for a fortune - only they haven't the money for the coke - can he borrow 3k's from his cartelista mates? They entice him with huge profits. Ray can fulfil his dream with one call to Oscar while Stew and Benny take the real risks. Pilar says he's mad. Ray is determined. It's his one big chance - he's got nothing in England! Pilar reluctantly calls Oscar who agrees to set up the deal.

A nervous wait at the airport. Oscar arrives with 3.5kgs of cocaine. He checks the plan out. Benny leaves for Australia with the merchandise. Ray and Pilar relax on Ipanema beach and wait for the profits to come to them. Their love nest is wrecked when Oscar - drunk and coked - gets them robbed in a transsexual sting. Stew is arrested by the Brazilian police and implicates Ray to save himself and his family. Ray, now labelled an "international narco-traficante Inglese" must pay them 20k or they'll kill him. Oscar steals Ray's passport from the police and they run for it. They head by bus for the safety of Colombia. Stranded near the border, Ray orders Oscar to get Pilar on a plane to safety while he tries to get through security alone. They helplessly watch as Ray is stopped and arrested. Oscar drags tearful Pilar to the plane – Ray knows he's a dead man. The cop drives Ray across to the far side of the airport - takes off his cuffs, and takes out a gun. Ray faces death in a ditch. But he's forced onto a beat-up fish transport plane, told "Don't ever come back" and finds Pilar and Oscar waiting. The trio are flown back to Bogota - freedom. A phone call to Pablo Escobar had saved his life!
