The National Film Archive, Prague (NFA) founded in 1943, is one of the oldest and largest film archives in the world. This film heritage institution possesses an extensive collection of features, documentaries, newsreels and animated films, as well as photographs, books, scripts, journals and posters. Its mission is to preserve and exhibit the national cinema heritage, However, it is also a sales agency of various digitally restored films directed by internationally acclaimed directors.
